eight months...

Today leah is 8 months old. I would post a collage of pictures like the ones in the past, but i'm pretty sure InDesign was deleted from our computer in Ryan's fury to get rid of programs we didn't need as we only have a 4-year-old 30 gig computer and were running out of space on the hard drive. (Yes, Scott, I said 30). I'll have him re-install it tonight. For now, these will have to suffice.

Leah loves to read (and eat) her books, play with (and eat) her toes, say "ma ma", scream when she's on her stomach, play with (and eat) her toys, take baths in the big bathtub, go running with mom, smile, giggle, laugh, play pat-a-cake, hear duck sounds, give kisses, peek at things, try to eat cheerios, be scared by dad and listen to Christmas music (shhh, don't tell Ryan!). She is such a joy. Her hair is growing in blonde (much to my surprise...but delight that it's growing)! She now fits in size 2 diapers and 3-6 month old clothes. Barely.

Leah is looking more and more like Maren. I think it's the hair. She's adorable.

So cute...I love her bow! Is she small in weight for her age? Or is she just small framed?

She is so adorable and I just love seeing that smile! Our babies are getting so big-isn't almost kind of sad that it is all happening so fast?! Congratulations of the half marathon-amazing!

okay i have been told i must clarify that my last comment was in no way meant to be mean to julia...i was just simply expressing how i wish i could have lived close to the laytons in the last 8 months..sorry julia.. i meant no harm... never could anything involving leah be meant in a negative way. (will that suffice mare?)

You have some great pictures! Leah is a cutie!! By the way, happy birthday - I didn't know I was 4 days older than you.

yes, kelli, that will suffice.

and to all: leah is shrimpy all around. she was in the third percentile for weight and the seventh for height at her 6 month checkup...it will be interesting to see what she is next month. she has grown a ton just in the last month.

SIZE 2 Diapers! What! What a non-ghetto booty baby! That is hilarious! Zach is in threes and 6-9 months pushing 9-12. That's okay, he likes petite girls.
