12 months

i can NOT believe leah is one year old today! it's been a crazy, wonderful year full of firsts, frustrations and fantastic times. the biggest news of the month is that she got her first tooth! i think the day that will go down in history is valentine's day as we really saw it that morning. it's still not big enough to photograph, but it's there. promise. still no crawling, but aunt kelli has been putting her through some pretty rigorous bootcamp, so we expect that will come soon.

Happy Birthday, Leah!

Leah is now sitting as tall as the pillow. that is so great! How fun to have used that as a measurement all year long. Richard will be happy to hear about the tooth. Sounds like you had a fun, fun day.

You should put up her first picture next to the pillow so we can see the difference. I can't believe a year has gone by already. It is crazy how fast time goes when you aren't paying attention. I think the fun times in her life are going to be really soon. I just loved it when Lucy was her age and really starting to grow and develop her oen little personality more. I think once you can really play with them they are tons of fun.

Wow, it's amazing how fast a year goes by. Leah is so adorable, I'm lovin' the pigtails. Your mom was so excited to show me the latest videos on Kelli's blog.. I love the "ugly dance". She is a smart little girl, I was amazed at how she responded so quickly. What a cutie!

I can't wait to see the "year of photos" next to the pillow. I'm so excited that you were able to keep up on that. It's been a fun year for you, you are an amazing mom!

What a fast year! And what a darling little girl! She looks less like a baby now! Love the outfit. You should make a collage or slideshow of all the "month" pictures you took of her. It would be fun to see!
