jelly belly

kelli, leah and i went to fairfield yesterday for a tour of the jelly belly manufacturing plant. it was pretty interesting and smelled so good! (yes, i did have a few...and yes, they do have sugar.) my favorite is their new flavor, pomegranate...but kiwi, pear, very cherry, pink grapefruit and 7up come in as close runners up.
leah was pretty interested in all of the colors, sounds and robots...and even waited to eat (in the car trunk!) until after we were done.
she didn't like the oversized jelly belly much, though. sad as this picture is, it was pretty funny.

I love jelly bellys and I almost got my family to stop and take this tour once when we were driving around California. I'm glad to have this chance to live it vicariously through you. Juicy Pear all the way.

that's classic! I love her chubby little face and I even love the screaming picture, like you said, sad as it is. Why are pictures of children screaming so endearing to parents? Not sure, but I agree, they can be dang cute/funny when they're having a fit.

I have been there and it is a really fun tour! The picture of Leah crying is so funny! I am amazed you don't eat sugar, your one of the most disciplined people I know!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor. Would you be mine? Could you be mine? Seriously, this reminded me of the crayon factory on Mr. Rogers. Looks like a fun outing, though. And I understand why leah is crying - that jelly belly dude is a bit scary-looking. . . those big, white hands are bigger than her.
