A few randoms the past few weeks:
Today it was chilly enough to actually wear jackets to the park. Imagine that. I couldn't resist the urge to put a hat and gloves on Leah. She actually kept them on for the entire walk over. But, I have a sad, sad confession to make. That's actually my hat she's wearing. No, she doesn't have an abnormally large head. I have an unusually small one. I got the hat on clearance in the baby section at Old Navy a few years ago - it's a size 2T. Even more sad is that I just got her a hat for Christmas - size 18-24 months - and it fits me. I think I have a complex. Leah has been spending a lot of time here lately...the time out chair.

Sweet braids Maren!!
I am so jealous that her hair is ALL ONE LENGTH! Just amazing.
You have got to be kidding me! How does she have so much and such thick hair already?! Don't worry, I won't show Capri. But seriously, I am amazed that you can get her to sit still to do such a fabulous job! :D
I am so amazed that all these other little girls have enough hair for braids--and they would sit still long enough for their moms to DO a braid. I can't get lucy to sit still enough for a straight fountain on top of her head. They are so cute on her and I love the Man Man!!
french braids: awesome. the look on leah's face in the time out ... pretty dang funny. the second chair block is a nice technic. :)
hahah time out chair.. "this is no fun, no fun staring at the wall".. and love the braids.. can't believe she sat still for you to do that.. so cute!
ps is jack wearing leah's beads?
I'm so glad the french braid tradition lives on. I still remember random strangers stopping me and asking how I braided your hair - a flight attendant even made me undo it and show her how!
French braids? I'm so jealous! Leah is just too darn cute! Also, I'm glad we're not the only ones spending time with the time out chair lately!!
