rockin' the bangs
Leah and I got hair cuts yesterday. We like them a lot. And we like our hair cutter a lot. Check out those cheek bones!!
We chopped a few inches off of Leah's curly locks... 
And she is now sporting bangs.
She was just too scraggly before and I think bangs (as much as I didn't want to do it) will spiffy her up a bit. Don't worry, I didn't cut half of her head into bangs like my mom did to me when I was three. I also didn't cry for days afterward like she did. Poor mom. It wasn't you fault. It was those darn '80s styles. Everyone looked like a cabbage patch doll, not just me.
As for me, I'm also sporting bangs after a few years of a hiatus (1984 was the first, aforementioned, go 'round...). 
They had receded a bit by 1989 
and were full fledged volcano bangs by 1992.
My bangs reappeard in 2003 and were gone by 2006. And now they're baaaaaaack. Picture to come when I actually do my hair AND makeup in the same day. It happens. Really. It does.

I also had the most HORRIBLE bangs of all time throughout the 80s and well into the 90s- I had the straight blunt cut, curled back, the claw (half on the side and half under), permed bangs, barrel bangs (you could literally stick your finger through them and not touch any hair which was coated in hair spray) and I am impressed that you posted the photos on the blog- I have chosen to leave those parts of my life NOT on the internet so I am proud of you for doing so! And I rocked great bows like that too :-)
that was just a tease. i wanna see your 2009 bangs.. i dont' think i have ever had bangs. oh wait. the wedge. dang wedge.

These pictures look all too familiar! So funny.
I just got done with my cut today (Lucy didn't have time) and what do you know, I cut bangs too. Great minds think alike I guess.

love the flashback & the new look for Leah! I can totally relate for waiting to take your own pic, but you actually looked cute @ cabin so find it hard to believe it hasn't happened yet @ home:)
I think the her hair cut is adorable, and I am sure yours is too. I have been thinking about the whole bang think too, but an too nervous.
Leah is totally rockin those bangs. I LOVE the old pictures of you. Let's just say that bangs on you look a heck of a lot better than on me! You were certainly a cute little girl!
