Iowa bound

After about a month of anticipation, the following message showed up today in Ryan's inbox:

Hi, Ryan.

I am pleased to inform you that you have matched to your #1 ranked project ....   You will report directly to xx and will be based in xx, IL.  Xx will be contacting you to further discuss this project and to agree on a start date for this assignment.

I’m looking forward to having you here in the Quad Cities!

Regards,
xx

Ryan will be working with the World Wide Parts division at John Deere. There was a lot more info in there that Ryan understood and my brain comprehended as blah, blah, blah (not because I don't care...because I seriously don't understand). And so, in just about 3 months, we will be mid-west bound.  Most likely living in Iowa while Ryan works across the river in Illinois.

First Tuck and now John Deere. It's a good thing we look good in green.

So excited for you guys! We LOVE the mid-west and can't seem to leave after six years. Good choice on living in Iowa - probably a much cheaper cost of living (as we currently live in Illinois and know just how expensive it is). Have fun celebrating graduation in a few weeks - hooray for a light at the end of the tunnel.

Laura,
I wish Iowa were cheaper! But at least in the quad cities, Iowa is the more expensive of the two...yet with better services for Leah, which is why we chose it. But yes, yay for graduation and a light at the end of the tunnel!

Colleen,
We will definitely meet up. Can't wait to see you all again and meet miss O!
