Simon Pearce

Another item on my Tucket List was to watch the glass blowers at Simon Pearce in Quechee, VT. I had been to the restaurant before, but we went at night after the glass blowing demonstrations and the store were closed.

So, when Ryan's parents mentioned they would like to take Ryan and I (and Kate, Leah was at school) to lunch at Simon Pearce to celebrate his graduation, we jumped at the chance.

Lunch was delicious. And when I say delicious, that is one of the grossest understatements of my life. If you are ever in the area, go to Simon Pearce (and go for lunch, it's way cheaper).

After we ate, we ventured into the store where Kate learned a lesson about keeping her hands to herself.

Then we headed downstairs to the glass blowing workshop

where we watched this man turn this:

It was incredible to watch.

We ended our visit with a view of the Ottauquechee River on the back patio of the building. Full bellies and a beautiful view.
