gratitude: day 4
today i'm grateful for bad days.
what?
bad days?
yup.
today was a bad day. but, it helped me to reflect upon my feelings. i cried a lot. a shared a lot. i thought a lot.
and it will help me appreciate tomorrow...which will be a good day. i can feel it.
p.s. i'm also grateful for the above-pictured book. if you haven't read it, you must.
p.p.s. i'm not sure what ryan is grateful for because he is stuck at work. i'm not grateful for that.

I am grateful you are posting what you are grateful for!! :) I love reflecting on things you have written...and you write it so well! Love you! The great thing about bad days is..."the sun will come out tomorrow!!"
Aaaah . . . some days are like that, even in Australia. I love this book so much I even have it in Spanish (aun en Australia). What you have described is being thankful in all things. My heart breaks when you have bad days, but rejoices when you can see through the bad. I love you.
p.s. I'm grateful that Ryan has work so that you can be with bean - even though being with bean is most times very, very hard.
That book happens to be one of my very favorites. Really. It's seen me through many a bad day.
What I love about Maren is that even when she is having a bad day(most likely because I bailed on watching Leah for her piano lessons :( ), she still calls me (because I am sick) and invites me to dinner. Even though we didn't go (I am not one to share germs:)), I think the gesture shows so much about Maren. Friends just don't come any better!
I love that book!
Mom stole my comment.. i think we are the ones who gave her Alexander y el dia terrible, horrible, espantoso, horroroso. He He He, one of few things that's pretty cool in spanish:) but yes, somedays are like that, even in mountain view. but i am here for you on ANY bad day:)
